A: Yes, Weeny Free Video Recorder is absolutely 100% free and you don't need to pay anything. There are no watermark, duration or function limitation.

Q: Why does this program only support WMV format?
A: Weeny Free Video Recorder only supports WMV output now. We didn't pack other video codec so we can reduce the setup file size. You can download Free Video Converter software to convert the WMV video to 3gp, avi, flv, mp4, mpg or mkv video.

Q: What do the icons on main window mean?
A: The icons from left to right mean: capture window, capture desktop, capture region, capture camera, settings and help manual.

Q: Can this program record audio?
A: Yes, however we recommend using our Free Audio Recorder software to record any audio sources on your computer.

Q: Can this program capture a screenshot?
A: No, you can use our Free Screen Capture software to capture screenshot on desktop.

Q: Why can't this program record my webcam?
A: Make sure your webcam works well. If your webcam has never worked, or it stopped working, first check the physical connection of the webcam. Verify that it is firmly plugged into the USB port.
Make sure your recording settings are correct. Click "video device" tab on settings window, choose source, referred sizes and subtype options.

Q: Does it support video file that is larger than 1G?
A: Yes, there is no file size limitation for Weeny Free Video Recorder.
